Give this a shot

Go into Settings, Network Connections and then the properties of your Local Area Connection and\or Wireless Network Connection.

Once in the Properties, highlight Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click on Properties

At the bottom of this window, you should see a couple options regarding your DNS server. Check the box next to "Use the following DNS server addresses" and enter 4.2.2.1 and 4.2.2.2 in the window below that.

You may have to reboot for it to take effect. These are two of the fastest & highest capacity DNS servers around, and should be faster than what your ISP is using or relaying you to.

If it causes you problems or isn't any faster, just follow the above steps and reselect "Obtain DNS server address automatically.
Let me know how it works :toast:

Ahhhh, that's true. Is it Vista that has the v6?

I'm avoiding that OS like the plague.

What is your size limit set to in Tools\Internet options?

What is telling you that it's full?

You should be able to just set the size to maybe 512mb & let it overwrite as needed.

LOL, I don't do Macs, but if they have a way to manually specify a DNS server, it should work just fine.

If you screw it up, all you have to do it change it back to what it was before(and maybe reboot).

Tinco...this does work pretty good...since i have more than 1 pc...i went to my router and change my DSN entries there...this will ensure all my pc will have these DNS entries set up and never had to manually change it...

Thanks
